So one thing that has always seemed obvious to me, but that no one ever notes, so I’m wondering if I’m just imagining things, is in the trumpet phrase at the center of the main theme in the Journey to the IsIand cue (also used elsewhere of course). Towards the end of the phrase, we get a blue note - and this has always seemed to be to me Williams’ nod to the “artificial” or “unnatural” element to these resurrected dinosaurs.
